One quiet night

moi was “steadily” typing an essay due tmr. Suddenly, tong came to my room with tearful eyes that did not accompany with any sadness on her expression. Instead she was kinda smiling. So that confused me. Anyway before I could guess what happened, Tong said:” there is a cockroach in my room…e hehhehhee..” My first reaction was..:” huh? Really? Oh no.. “ So as Tong was so afraid of the cockroach, I went to help her tackle it.. haha. At first we couldn’t find where the hell it was. Then as we spotted it at the side of Tong’s cabinet for the first time, I tried to hit it with newspaper but it managed to escape. And then after a while it was on the floor, crawling around. Then it went under the cupboard. So I had to force the cockroach to come out in order to kill it. Ya.. it was kinda like a hide-n-seek thing. Anyways.. here’s some pics and video of the process.. (I must really say.. tong is super duple scared of cockroach la. .. had never seen her being so traumatized before..hahaha)

Suicide

Some stuff to share.... about Suicide

I have always thought that people who commit suicide are just losers trying to escape from their problems.. i mean ya.. maybe to a certain extent it is true especially for people who owe loansharks lotsa money and just cant find ways to pay them back and then just choose to end their life, some even bring their family's life together. Anyways.. something happened and triggered me to google about suicide. So basically, i found that, to some people, extreme stress, emotional upset, abuse, poverty, neglect, disability etc.. show no hope or change and improvement and hence eventually precipitate depression and suicidal thoughts. But for some others, suicide is not something they want.. or rather it;s not something they choose. It can be due to various brain chemistry deficiencies and/or disorders.

"Suicidal thoughts are an involuntary affliction ! We don't choose to think them. Suicidal thoughts just enter, they just come into your mind on their own.

And they don't just sit idly by...

Suicidal thoughts are VERY ACTIVE and have tremendous emotional power !

They push you, urge you, compel you towards suicide.

At times, I felt it almost as an entity darkly drawing me into the dark universe, an eternal vacuum of death

...a wrenching, twisting, turning emotional agony."

Thus although untreated depression is the bottom line and life circumstances can breed suicidal thoughts, a person with a healthy brain chemistry is not even going to think of suicide.

This is how the suicidal statistics in the world in year 2006.. Red is high, Yellow is medium, and Blue is low while white means no data collected from the region. (from the WHO stats)




Yea.. i know u may be wondering why i talk about suicide all of a sudden. CHILL!.. i m not contemplating suicide or anything close to that. Something happened to a fren's fren and my close fren is very troubled by it.. so thought i find out something about it and share them here. So ya..this is it. Once again, to clarify, i m fine, nothing is wrong with me and i m happy...:)


Stay strong people... for urself, for ur loved ones. Life is beautiful(i guess)..hahaha
