JB CLose 2007 part II

Ok the whole tournament just ended... And convent won gloriously!!... omg.. The final was such an exciting match.. The girls won the first two sets, and then lost the subsequent 3rdand 4th set.. but they manage to get it back at the very last set.. and They played well.. Even Sir was damn happy. Plus they actually beat the MCA Wadi Hana team that consisted of a national player, a few state players and some other dont know who.. haha.. Anyways.. they did well. So proud of them.

As for me n yitong n jiali, we played for Ms agatha and her frens.. we managed to get fourth.. But i think it was a fun n interesting experience to get to play with them. Well we only decided to join four days before the tournament and the "aunties" are all like 34 year old n above n they havent play for such a long time.. So overall they did not bad.. Glad to meet them n learn from this entire experience.

A normal School day

Well today was the only tuesday that allowed me to have a 2 hours break since the term has started... So during the break.. managed to hav lunch with the peeps and hang around in school.. But what excites me the most was that i bumped into Huiqin and Heather!!.. havent seen them for ages.. havent seen the rest for quite sometime too. Well i bumped into another teammate as well.. but hem.. she kinda pretended to not see me when i was about to say hi to her.. Arh wateva..she isnt that close to the team anyway.... I m just happy enough to bump into two teammates in a day.... hope to see the rest real soon man...

Well there is this Vb tournament in JB.. Convent is taking part... Tong n i are playing for the "aunties" team.. cos ms agatha(our coach) and her frens wanna take part n yet they dont have enough players.. so they jus asked tong, jiali n i along. Well as most of the "aunties" are like 34 years old n above, tong n i were kinda worried of getting thrashed haha.. but heck man.. jus play for fun la.. it doesnt matter.. As long as Convent wins.. i dont really care bout other things.. lol..

Busy week...

Realised that i havent blog for a couple of days alredi... I am just so busy with school work and training that i dont even bother to check my own blog. Now that i hav like 10 minutes before i sleep, i should jus write something..

ok..last week i saw this Tyra Banks talkshow on tv. It was talking about anorexia and how super duple skinny models r affecting women nowadays. Then they invited a plus size model and a super skinny model to the show. So they discussed bout whether skinny models nowadays r really influencing women to be impossibly skinny.. It seems like the modelling industry r actually looking for healthier looking models.. But hello!! it is up to u to define what is healthy looking.. Some people can look fat or skinny eventhough their BMI seem to be fine.. some people may look fine but they r not healthy.. And wateva u think it's healthy looking may seem skinny to some people or it may seem fat to some people.. So wat r u trying to say man.. This is basically that one point i disagree with.

Well yea.. anorexia is affecting more people nowadays. And i do agree that skinny models may play a part in this. But wat annoys me is that.. if someone is skinny, it doesnt mean that she is anorexic or abnormal or that she doesnt eat.

I m used to my relatives saying..."aiya, chia wen arh... u never eat is it.. ur dad never give u food is it...ur sis eats ur share isit.." Well the fact is.. i do eat normally and sometimes i eat a lot.. I remember vividly that during my college, my english teacher was talking about anorexia and bulimia. Then she kept looking at me, trying to emphasize her point to me.. I knew what she was thinking... She was just trying to tell me that .."u shouldnt go on diet to look skinny.." Arh.. i was like.." oh puhleaseeeeeee.... i eat hell of a lot man.." I so wanted to prove her wrong.. but luckily my good pal next to me jus yelled.."oh teacher.. dont worry... she eats a lot.. she eats so much more than me.." Then the whole class just burst into laughter..

Besides being misunderstood as someone who goes on a diet just to be skinny, i m also seen as someone who shouldnt donate blood at all.. Haha.. I went for blood donation once. And after donating, i told my frens bout it. I thought they would be like.." oh really? how did it go?? where n when..bla bla bla.." Instead all i got was.." HUH??? u?? donate blood??? r u sure?? r u ok? r u gonna faint soon??..." That was really funny. I din know that i was that "weak" to them. Anyways, i din donate a lot of my blood either... they only took about 2/3 or even half of the amount of what other people normally donate.

Well all i wanna say is that.. i din choose to be skinny or i did not "purposely" make myself skinny.. and i do wanna gain weight and have been wanting to gain weight.. but it;s not easy.. So we should not assume all skinny looking girls to be unhealthy, anorexic, bulimic or on diet.

Yea.. The annual Chingay in JB was here again... Went with my family as usual... Well i must say this is a very traditional, religious, authentic and a very own JB event. It's not as grand as other chingays overseas.. but it is definitely something unique..

Just wanna be crazy...

Was suppose to join the girls for training today... but it got cancelled for some reasons... That was so shitty cos i had been wanting to play vb to destress myself a lil... So while i was driving pass Danga Bay, i thought of going there and jus do anything and chill.. So there we went.

We walked around, took pictures, and cycled.. and on top of that, when we cycled around, we just yelled hi and hello at anyone we saw.. I must say we really did make quite a scene there. But who cares.. there are times when i jus wanna be crazy and heck care about what others think. It really felt good.. It was such a relieve from all the stress in school and in this cruel real world. Wish that i can have more chance to do this man...
